is Eamonn Darcy, an established expert in Generative AI and Quantum Computing.
Eamonn received a Master’s Degree in e-commerce in 2001, he specialised in Quantum Cryptography, Machine Learning and Neural Networks. In 2018, he founded the Quantum and AI Education Centre of Western Australia (QUECWA) and became a certified IBM Quantum Educator.
Eamonn has presented at notable events such as the 2020 IBM Quantum Summer Camp and to 600 members of the Australian Computer Society (ACS)
He's deeply involved in educational initiatives, including the Quantum Girls project, aimed at addressing the underrepresentation of schoolgirls in STEM and specifically Generative AI and Quantum Computing.
In 2023, Eamonn was nominated for an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. He's also contributed internationally, authoring courses adopted by New York-based quantum startup QMunity and the Angels School in London, UK.
